90s in the forecast on Saturday then cooler weather settles in beginning on Sunday. An area of low pressure will move over central California from the east this weekend then move back to the west over the area next week. When it does so it will bring cooler weather and maybe some rain showers and thunderstorms to the San Joaquin Valley Monday and Tuesday. The mountains will have a chance of thunderstorms, rain and even snow from Saturday through Thursday.
Clovis Rodeo Forecast
The heat is on at the Clovis Rodeo this weekend. High pressure will boost high temperatures 10 to 15-degrees above normal for this time of year. Prepare for morning lows around 60-degrees and afternoon highs in the low to middle 90-degrees under bright sunshine. Sunday's high will be only 7-degrees below the record for the date of 101-degrees set in 1898 which happened 16 years before the first Clovis Rodeo.
