During Fresno State's 49-32 win at New Mexico this past Saturday, backup quarterback Greg Watson scored his first career touchdown on a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter.

But he didn't keep the football.

"Oh I gave it to the ref, just gave it to the ref," he said before Wednesday's practice.

When asked why, Watson replied:

"Because you have to act like you've been in the endzone before. Just give it to the ref and just go celebrate with your team."
