Kathryn anchors the weekend editions of CBS47.
She is the winner of several broadcast excellence awards from the Associated Press. And she was nominated for an Emmy for her reporting on the Wesson murder case in Fresno.
Prior to moving to Fresno, Kathryn worked at KMTR-TV in Eugene, Oregon and KIDK-TV in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She has a B.A. Degree in Communications from U.C. Davis.
Kathryn is married to author Jim Brown whose books include "24/7", “Black Valley” and “Boom.”
The family is rounded out by their cat Chaplin who was rescued from a tree on Fresno’s Christmas Tree Lane.
Kathryn is an animal lover, avid reader, and enjoys hiking.
She has served on the board of Cat House on the Kings in Parlier and is a supporter of the Humane Society.
