Claudia is a general assignment reporter for CBS47. She joined the team in December 2012.
She is excited to be living in California for the first time. She comes to us from the Lone Star State where ‘everything is bigger in Texas.’
She graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with an Electronic Media degree in 2010.
She has strong ties to Austin, Texas after living there for a few years. She believes it's one if the most amazing cities to plant your roots.
Her former job was close to the Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley where she reported for the NBC affiliate. She was a video journalist (aka one-man-band) who loved every bit of being in front of the camera as much as behind shooting, writing and editing her own material.
Although she appreciates the knowledge she’s soaked up along the way, she’s ready to turn the page and create a new chapter in Fresno as a part of the CBS47 family.
In her spare time you can catch her experiencing new restaurants and fully immersing herself in the California culture. She's looking forward to visiting landmarks such Yosemite, Red Wood Forests, the coastline, Golden Gate Bridge and Shaver Lake.
