Alexandra Limon

Alexandra Limon joined the CBS 47 team in November 2009, and she is very happy to be back in California.

Alex grew up in southern California, and was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

She previously worked as a General Assignment Reporter for the Telemundo regional newscast in the Phoenix / Tucson markets. As the Tucson bureau reporter she covered many border issues, including drug trafficking and illegal immigration, on a daily basis.

Her first news job was in Reno, NV where she reported for the local CW and Azteca America stations. Alexandra graduated with a BA in Communications, Journalism from California State University, Fullerton.

As a new resident to the Central Valley she plans to spend her free time exploring the nearby national parks and improving her snowboarding skills in the winter, as well as discovering new restaurants and shops in town.

She is very excited to be closer to her friends and family in southern California!
