Thanks to all who voted for this idiot. I just wish you were the ones losing your jobs instead of our police department. Oh and a sure fire way to create more crime is to cut kids programs. So we will have more crime and less cops. Thanks you moron Republicans!!!!!!!

I am always perplexed by these so called educated college students , mostly liberal, that do not understand that the reason there is so little state money for education is that the liberal tax and spend policies of the legislature drove so many businesses out of the state and decimated the state tax base. Calif. needs jobs, and should be business freindly, not business hostile. Industry creates the jobs that fund the tax base, that can then fund education. Most of these knuckleheads will likely continue the anti-corporation mentality that we have now.

I agree. I had my car stolen Monday morning. Some of you may have even seen the high speed chase the thief's took my car on. I am sick of the crime in this city. Cutting police services is the last thing we need. Why don't we start cutting all funding for holiday decorations, and anything that is not absolutely needed. I agree I want to get the heck out of this city. It is a horrible place to raise a family. NOW I AM MAD. Glad I didn't vote for her.

Longer wait times for residential burglaries huh?!?! So, 4 hours wasn't already long enough?? My house was robbed last week and my neighbors and a large construction crew just watched it all happen. This town is a waste land! I am moving as far away from Fresno, it's crime, gangs and plight before I get sucked in and become another statistic! I hate this damn town!

I think the new reccomendations are correct. They state that women should not get YEARLY mammograms from 40 to 50 . A woman could still get one test at 40 or 45, but the yearly tests are too invasive and expose them to too much radiation for their value.

Dear CBS, It would be good practice to provide a larger and clearer photo of missing persons. How do you expect anyone to recognize Mr. Henry if they can barely see him in the photo? Dark Clark

he should have went to jail or a mental hospital at the very least. his name got him off. he is a criminal that should have served some time for beating his wife and shooting at authorities.

probation was the appropriate sentence. He is a good man that just went off the deep end for that one day. The police could have taken a lesson from the movie " Rambo" and just backed off when he led them on the chase. They could have picked him up quietly the next day at the car wash or his business.

"Validated gang members". Is that because they belong to an actual gang, or because they are Juggalos? Rebecca Lindstrom, the reporter, states that the police state that "not all Juggalos are gang members", but CBS 47 can't wait to show the video for "Chicken Huntin'" as a sterling example of the "horror" of the neighborhood. They, like all other media outlets would rather prepetuate the notion that ICP promote violence and crime, rather than play a song like "Pass Me By" or "Crystal Ball", both of which suggest to Juggalos the concept of going to Heaven, a.k.a. Shangra-la, or to be true to yourself and your friends. Then, there's "Homeowner", the old man who didn't want to be identified because he feels "intimidated", but sat there and wrote down license plate numbers, turned those into the police, and showed his face on T.V. (Oh, that's smart!). Either you have the gonads to do what he did KNOWING that you are risking your life by NOT minding your own business or you don't; there's no middle ground there. And, if they call him as a witness, the "gang" will know who he is. But, he'll be better once "we clear the whole thing out completely", meaning all young people, who like that horrible nig', I mean, rap music get out of the neighborhood. Yeah, then he'll feel safe! Anybody got a spare Iron Jockey with a black face that he can use? Finally, we have Chris Curtice, the officer from the Fresno County Sherrif's Police. He suggests a "trend" of crime being commited "by a specific group", specifically meaning the Juggalos. For the record, I am a working professional, 46 years old, a veteran, black and a Juggalo, with NO criminal record. I guess his "spidey sense" doesn't read those kinds of Juggalos, huh? I PRAY he doesn't represent the views of the enitre Sherrif's police, or that the force has a "spidey sense". Most ADULTS use common sense. I'm glad I live in Chicago. Our government is corrupt, but we use our heads here, not spidey sense.
