What Mr. Anderson says is simply NOt true. The bill has a grandfather provision for current big cat owners that allows individuals to continue keeping their animals as long as they register them with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) within a year after the bill becomes law. Facilities like his can seek accreditation with Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). You can read the facts about this bill here: http://www.ifaw.org/sites/default/files/45780_Fuszion_IFAW_Brochure_2.pdf

Special Report: Alternative Education

You provided only a very positive approach to alternative education. Are you going to look at the downside, as well and present that. Any quantity of education that reduces human interaction, both with teachers and other students is a negative. You used Sierra Charter as a positive example, but our experience with the school was highly negative, including the responsible (must meet once a week) teacher, who failed on numerous occasions to do just that. It seems to be the profit motive that is mostly behind alternative education, nation wide, though I don't doubt that some parents are genuinely sincere about helping their kids. Your viewers should be given the statistics on past performance of Charters, Vouchers, Online, educ. etc. It's not very encouraging. I think it's appropriate for CBS 47 to present both sides of the story. I hope that you plan on doing so, in the very near future.

Right to the point lawyers...PG and E did not have the BREAKAWAY CABLE CONNECTED AND THE SAFETY CHAINS THEY USED ARE NOT RATED TO PREVENT THAT TRAILER FROM COMING LOOSE. PG And E needs to be fined because that trailer was in VIOLATION OF FEDERAL CODE...every trailer over 3,000 GVWR needs to have a SECONDARY BREAKING SYSTEM INDEPENDENT OF THE DEFECTIVE SAFETY CHAINS...and guess what lawyers....they did not!!! Their entire safety program is defective and they need to be fined big time.

Help us get this family on T.V! Petition Priscilla Bruno The death of my daughter Makayla Bruno still haunts me to this day. The pain of losing a child never goes away. There are far too many deaths and injuries caused by runaway trailers. We, the undersigned, are asking our state and federal safety officials to get a grasp on this very serious safety hazard. We do not want to lose one more loved one by these tragic accidents. This CHILD OF GOD IS NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS SUFFERED! http://www.dangeroustrailers.org/Stolen_Trailers_Page.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oM1I-tDixzo Owner of trailer that caused deadly accident remains unknown By Kirk Brown Published Tuesday, September 20, 2011 ANDERSON — A year has passed since a detached utility trailer caused a crash on Interstate 85 in Anderson County that killed the parents of two young children.
