i agree. Groceries come before your baby! Simply tragic and awful. The parents should be charged with manslaughter. We are talking about Fresno, in the heat, in a black suv! And, then the Good Samaritan neighbor does CPR-not the parent...I don't understand how anyone could be so clueless. Poor dear sweet little baby.

The fire crews did an anazing job putting out this fire. It is a very brushy area and difficult to even hike through on a good day, let alone with an intense heat and fire licking at you. awesome job and greatly, greatly apprciated!

Another fire today. I wish the suspects would be arrested soon. We have been told to keep our eyes open and report any suspicious behavior, which we have. Still no arrest. The firefighters have done a great job putting out the fires but we need some help from law enforcement in apprehending and arresting the perpetrators. The perpetrators have been starting fires almost daily. It should not be the homeowners who are staking out the areas. Some residents are so nervous that the have hardly slept for weeks. This was written by a Yosemite Lakes Park resident who lives fairly close to the area where most of the fires have been.

If this person has been stealing 2-3 cars a night, where are the cars ???

Mark and Matt have been my daughters friends since freshman year. They are 2 of the sweetest and most respectful boys I've ever met. They have a great mom. I pray he will be ok because they deserve nothing but love and happiness in their life. :)

As a Grandmother myself, I say.....YOU GO GIRL!!!!!...... For too long we Seniors have been the targets of thieves, muggers, and burglars. With Police/Sheriff wait times 30 minutes to 4 hours, We Seniors need to learn how to take care of ourselves. Learning how to use a gun, owning a gun, and POSSIBLY using said gun in self defense against the thieves, muggers, and burglars is not a bad thing. It's better than being put in a Skilled Nursing home because we got beat up or raped or put on Life Support....AND it is definitely better than being DEAD. We and our friends have permitted handguns...AND WE ALL KNOW HOW TO USE THEM!!!!!! Just in case someone wants to get stupid....

No. we wanted to keep good jobs for Americans and feel like maybe we should be cutting subsidies for corporations should go. Or maybe even the mayors pay check should get cut first. These people work hard for America and out sourcing their jobs to someone that will only pay minimum wage is horrible. We want good jobs for the people of Fresno. Stop making minimum wage jobs.

I can't believe the citizens of Fresno feel keeping their current Garbage collectors were more important than the police and fire. Why did they even have to vote on it. What was good for the citizens of Fresno should have been enough to make the change.

12 years reduced to 5, for taking a child's life. Crappy punishment.
